The Daily Prompt Exhibition

Learn to talk
to AI.

Every day we hang one fresh AI-generated image on the wall. Your task: reverse-engineer the text prompt that produced it. It's a two-minute game — and the most practical way to train the defining skill of the AI era: writing prompts that say exactly what you mean.

What prompt produced this image?

Describe it the way you'd instruct the model. Each attempt is scored 0–100 on closeness. Five attempts; 80+ acquires the piece.

Don't miss an opening

A quiet note when each day's piece goes up. No spam — ever.

II

The Method

Reverse-prompting is deliberate practice for prompt writing. You see the output, you propose the instruction, and you get scored, specific feedback — the fastest feedback loop there is.

01

Observe

Study the piece like a critic — subject, style, lighting, medium, mood. These are the levers a good prompt pulls.

02

Propose

Write the instruction you think produced it. Specific nouns, style words, and framing beat vague description.

03

Score

Our model compares your prompt to the original and scores closeness 0–100, with a nudge on what you missed.

04

Refine

Adjust and resubmit. In five tries you internalise how phrasing changes output — the core of prompt literacy.

III

Why Prompt Literacy

Prompting is the new literacy. The people who get the most from AI aren't the ones with the best tools — they're the ones who can describe what they want precisely. PromptGuess turns that skill into a daily habit.

  • Concrete, not abstract. You practise on real images with real prompts, not theory.
  • Measured. Every attempt gets a number, so you can see yourself improve.
  • Daily. Two minutes a day compounds — like a language you slowly become fluent in.
  • Transferable. The instinct for specificity carries straight into your real AI work.

The Studio

PromptGuess began with a small conviction: that talking to AI well is a learnable craft, not a knack — and that the best way to learn a craft is to practise it a little every day. So we built a studio around a single daily ritual. One image, one prompt to recover, a score, and a streak. Easy to start, surprisingly hard to master, and quietly instructive — you walk away a sharper prompt writer without ever feeling like you sat through a lesson.

We're a small, independent, self-funded studio. No noise, no hype — just a useful daily thing we're proud of, growing one visitor at a time.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. The daily piece, scoring, streaks, and sharing are free forever. Paid Editions only add the archive, practice mode, and team rooms.

How is my guess scored?

An AI model compares the meaning of your prompt to the original prompt that generated the image and returns a closeness score from 0 to 100, plus a hint about what you missed.

Is the image the same for everyone?

Yes — one piece per day, identical worldwide, refreshed at 00:00 UTC. That's what makes the streak and shared results meaningful.

Do I need an account?

No. Your streak is kept on your device. Accounts arrive with Member Editions for archive access and cross-device skill tracking.

Can I use this with my class or team?

Absolutely — that's the Studio Edition. Private rooms, a leaderboard, and an educator view. Write to us and we'll get you set up.
